It isn't just the patient who overcomes his or her eating disorder, it is the entire family. Family plays a crucial role in the clinical treatment process. Reflections strongly encourages family participation in group therapy, and for family to visit during designated visiting hours. Additionally, family is encouraged to be involved in the nutritional education process. Family involvement is particularly important in the adolescent population.
